Hard coating extends the life of polycarbonate domes and polycarbonate lenses by providing abrasion resistant properties. The environmentally friendly UV cured coating also provides improved cosmetic appearance with it's high gloss finish. This coating is an excellent way of protecting optical domes and optical lenses that are handled extensively or are placed in harsh environments. Hard
coated polycarbonate domes can withstand normal handling during
assembly and installation without scratching. Test have shown coated
domes have up to eight (8) times greater scratch protection when
compared to uncoated domes. Criterion qualifies 100% adhesion. |
Criterion warrants hard coat adhesion up to 12 months under normal handling and environmental conditions. Scratches and digs beyond normal wear and tear could potentially limit the life of the hard coat and result in premature delaminating and/or crazing. |
